Cristiano Ronaldo launches his own YouTube channel 'UR Cristiano'

Ronaldo will give insight into his life and other things on the new channel.

Cristiano Ronaldo has launched his own YouTube channel. His page name goes as UR Cristiano. It features his own signature logo – with the UR looking like his initials CR followed by a play button.

During an advertisement, the player confirmed that he would be launching his YouTube channel. The striker will now be behind the camera. The Portuguese legend will show his daily life on videos such as playing games with his girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez, behind-the-scenes content, practising his trademark celebration and taking on challenges.

He also revealed that he will show more insight into his family, education and business. Ronaldo will even interview guests as well.

Ronaldo said: “I am very happy to make this project come to life. It has been in my mind for a long time but finally we have the opportunity to make it real.

“I have always enjoyed having such a strong relationship with fans on social media and my YouTube channel will give me an even bigger platform to do so and they will learn more about me, my family, and my views on many different subjects.

“I am also looking forward to sharing conversations with guests that will no doubt surprise people! The channel went live on Wednesday afternoon, with the bio telling fans to “SIUUUbscribe and join the CR7 family”.

So far he has posted 11 long-form videos on his YouTube channel. It consists of ‘Meet Georgina’, a free-kick challenge with his son and a ‘This or That’ video where he had to choose between Michael Jordan and Tiger Woods as well as Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic.

Even a video of Ronaldo and Georgina seen doing Mr & Mrs Quiz. He then hints towards confirming his marriage with glamorous Spanish model Georgina. The player introduces her as his wife in the video and both are pictured wearing rings.

Ronaldo will be another top football player who opened his YouTube channel. Many other such star players have done the same but after their retirement. It will be interesting who the former Real Madrid star will bring as guests on his channel. He already has a massive social media fanbase. Supporters will be looking forward to seeing his videos.
