Cristiano Ronaldo: New reported salary breakdown, weekly wages & more

The Portuguese star has agreed to sign a new deal with Al-Nassr.

Many people were interested in Cristiano Ronaldo’s January 2023 transfer to Saudi Arabia with Al Nassr for several reasons. The 39-year-old Portugal legend is currently competing in Asia after spending his whole playing career in Europe, where many believe he will eventually start to wind down his career.

Ronaldo made a complicated decision to join Al Nassr, and his final choice was undoubtedly influenced by the club’s alluring offer. Ronaldo was already among the richest football players in the world, but his Saudi contract has elevated him to a new level.

He apparently is considering extending his deal with the Saudi Arabian club at an even more outrageous sum after making an eye-watering amount of money during his first two seasons at the club.

In January 2023, Ronaldo inked a two-and-a-half-year agreement with Al Nassr, which was slated to expire in the summer of 2025. Recent sources state that the agreement has been extended through the summer of 2026 by an additional year.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr deal is expected to be extended through the summer of 2026, with a yearly value of €200 million ($204 million / £167.9 million), according to a source by the Portuguese daily A Bola.

Interestingly, only a small portion of this has to do with him actually playing football. Almost half of his profits in Saudi Arabia are said to have come from image rights and business transactions. According to A Bola report on Ronaldo’s most recent renewal, his €200 million contract may go up if the signing bonus and image rights are altered.

In order to leverage the Portugal star in their ambition to jointly host the 2030 World Cup, Saudi Arabia was reportedly anticipated to contribute to Cristiano Ronaldo’s salary when he joined. However, Al Nassr have since disputed this.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s new salary at Al-Nassr

  • €200M per year
  • €16.6M per month
  • €3.8M per week
  • €769,231 per day
  • €96,153 per hour
  • €1602 per minute
  • €26.7 per second
