The striker has advised his club to bring a certain Los Blancos player.

According to reports, Cristiano Ronaldo is pressuring Al-Nassr to carry off a spectacular raid for Antonio Rudiger. The seasoned German defender’s contract with the Santiago Bernabeu team is about to expire. If an extension is not reached, he will become a free agent in the summer of 2026.

CR7 reportedly wants the former Chelsea centre-back to play in the Saudi Pro League alongside him. Rudiger is free to negotiate with any admirers outside of Spain because his current contract has less than six months remaining. Fichajes claims that Al-Nassr are prepared to make a serious attempt to sign him.

Rudiger is allegedly “beginning to generate a noise that is becoming increasingly difficult to ignore” and “discussions for a possible renewal are not progressing” in Madrid. At this point, moving abroad at the end of the 2025–2026 campaign is thought to be the “most likely scenario.”

Big-budget clubs in the Middle East are reportedly among the “several ambitious projects” that are showing interest in him. According to reports, Real are willing to let him go because they are still in a “defensive transition process” and are concentrating on “medium to long-term” signings.

Los Blancos have traditionally been hesitant to sign long-term contracts with ageing stars or those who are older than thirty. In March, Antonio Rudiger will turn 33. “With long contracts or conditions outside their roadmap, Real Madrid are unwilling to compromise future planning.”

In light of this, “Al-Nassr is one of the destinations that has gained momentum in recent weeks.” Along with Joao Felix and former Liverpool winger Sadio Mane, they already have Portuguese GOAT Cristiano Ronaldo on their roster.

Fichajes continues by saying that five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo “has recommended Rudiger’s signing,” according to people close to the Saudi team. He feels that an “immediate quality boost” may be obtained, having previously lined up against the German.
