Cristiano Ronaldo urges Al-Nassr to sign former teammate Casemiro

The Red Devils are open to selling the Brazilian.
According to reports, Cristiano Ronaldo wants Al-Nassr to recruit Casemiro, a Manchester United flop, during the January transfer window.
According to The Telegraph, Al-Nassr star Ronaldo wants to get back again with his friend and former Real Madrid and United teammate in Riyadh. It has led to rumours that the Brazilian midfielder may leave Old Trafford during the January transfer window.
Although Casemiro has been connected to several other teams, the Saudi Pro League is reportedly his “most likely destination” if he decides to leave United this month, according to the source.
As Ronaldo enters the last six months of his current contract, there has been conjecture regarding his future in the Saudi Pro League. In a conversation with the Saudi Pro League’s official news channel, the Portugal legend, who turns 40 next month, implied that the team should add players to bolster their roster after ruling out leaving Al-Nassr.
A club can have no more than eight foreign players registered in the Saudi Pro League, which means they must sell or deregister a current foreign player from their squad in order to sign Casemiro. Seko Fofana has already been sold by Al-Nassr to Rennes, and Anderson Talisca, a Brazilian, is rumoured to be on the verge of joining Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce.
The Telegraph also states that the Red Devils are considering Nuno Mendes, a full-back for Paris Saint-Germain if they are successful in offloading Casemiro in January. Although the French champions PSG are reluctant to let go of the Portuguese defender this transfer window, Ruben Amorim expects him to be his first acquisition at the English club.
Al-Nassr are hoping to recover from their poor performance in the first half of the season as they are currently lying fourth in the table 11 points behind first-place Al-Ittihad. The Brazilian signing could be a great steal for their midfield, which would make it easier to prevent opponents from exploiting defensive weaknesses.
