England & Scotland FIFA World Cup 2026 group games see ticket price drop

The England national football team are one of the favourites to win the 2026 FIFA World Cup. This edition of the mega competition is all set to take place in Canada, Mexico and the USA. Across 104 matches, a total of 48 teams will be battling for the mega prize.
The Three Lions have secured the FIFA World Cup in 1966. With the current squad, they surely have a chance once again. England are placed in Group L alongside Croatia, Ghana and Panama. It will be interesting to see their performances this time around.
One of the most talked-about topics regarding the upcoming edition of the World Cup is the ticket prices. A lot of fans have shown disinterest because of the high prices, and this can be a big concern for FIFA. Majorly, the travelling fans are affected due to this record-high pricing.

Falling ticket prices for England and Scotland matches
FIFA’s resale platform is now displaying prices as low as £86. Even the cheapest ticket of the final, which will be played on July 19, has now dropped below £6,000 for the first time. The costs are still at record levels compared to the previous editions of the World Cup.
The amounts for England‘s group stage matches are still high compared to the other teams. Their opener against Croatia has seen a price drop of 24 per cent. The ticket prices have been dropped to £638 from £837.
The prices for the group stage game between the Three Lions and Ghana have now been reduced to £502 from £690 in the last month. It is a clear drop of 27 per cent.
The ticket for their final group stage contest has been reduced from £604 to £545, which will be played against Panama.
The prices for the games for the Scotland national football team are also on the higher side. The ticket price for their opener against Haiti can now be bought for £442, down from £603. Their clash against Morocco can now be purchased for £440 from £647.
The Tartan Army’s final group stage fixture is set to take place against Brazil. There is only a 6 per cent fall in their ticket prices. The ticket costs have now fallen from £1,120 to £1,053.
