The Three Lions have won every 2026 World Cup qualifier game so far.

Ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifying matches against Serbia and Albania next week, England manager Thomas Tuchel has named Jude Bellingham and Phil Foden in the squad. Alex Scott, a midfielder for AFC Bournemouth, has also been picked for the national senior team for the first time.

Tuchel has rejected pleas to include Brighton striker Danny Welbeck, while right-back Trent Alexander-Arnold and attacking midfielder Jack Grealish, who is on loan at Everton from Manchester City, are left out.

Bellingham, Alexander-Arnold’s Real Madrid teammate, was not named in Tuchel’s team for matches in October after the 22-year-old had recently recovered from shoulder surgery. He is back.

Foden, an attacking midfielder for Manchester City, last played for England against Latvia in March and was not included in the previous three selections. Same for Foden, he also marks a return.

After defeating Latvia in October, the Three Lions have continued their impressive run in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. England will host Serbia on Thursday, November 13, before playing their last Group K match in Albania three days later.

These two games will be their last competitive matches before the 2026 FIFA World Cup in Canada, Mexico, and the United States next summer.
