The Three Lions will play a friendly, then a FIFA World Cup qualifier.

Jude Bellingham, Phil Foden and Jack Grealish are left out of England’s games against Wales and Latvia next week, but Bukayo Saka has been called up.

Saka, a forward for Arsenal, had a hamstring injury last month, which prevented him from playing in the World Cup qualifying matches against Serbia and Andorra.

The 24-year-old scored in Wednesday’s 2-0 victory over Olympiacos after making his comeback for Arsenal. Saka replaces Noni Madueke, an Arsenal teammate who will be out until November due to a knee injury.

Prior to a World Cup qualifying match in Riga on October 14, the Three Lions play Wales in a friendly match at Wembley on Thursday.

In order to qualify for the tournament in Canada, Mexico, and the United States next summer, England will need to earn no more than two points from their final two qualifying matches, which are against Serbia and Albania in November, if they win in Latvia.

Tino Livramento of Newcastle, who is sidelined for up to eight weeks due to a knee injury sustained against Arsenal last weekend, is replaced by Jarell Quansah, a defender for Bayer Leverkusen.

Djed Spence and Elliot Anderson, who received their first England call-ups last month, are still in their positions. Ruben Loftus-Cheek has retained his position.
