The Blues recently lifted the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 title.
Winning trophies is the goal of every club. Although winning is usually the objective at the start of a campaign, some teams have shown themselves to be more adept at taking home the trophy than others.
Many ancient and renowned football teams in England have a lengthy history of winning the greatest silverware available. However, regulations must be established to define what constitutes a big trophy. The English clubs with the most significant trophies in the 21st century have been listed below.
Five English clubs with the most trophies in the 21st century
5. Arsenal: 9 trophies

One may argue that Arsenal have enjoyed the longest run of success in English football history.
Except for the 1960s and 2010s, the Gunners have won the English league every decade since their first league triumph in 1931. In addition, they have the most FA Cup victories and final appearances (14 and 21), respectively.
However, over the years, the Gunners have been through several transition periods, but the only thing that has eluded them has been silverware. Despite not winning the league title or any other major trophy, Arsenal still remain among the clubs with the most trophies in the 21st century.
4. Liverpool: 17 trophies

Liverpool have now turned into a winning team after Jurgen Klopp’s stint brought a lot of glory. The Reds have won 20 league crowns and have won the European Championship six times, three more than any other English team.
In the 21st century, the club have achieved only two Champions League and league titles, as the Klopp era has contributed even more glory to the red half of Merseyside. The Premier League era’s second league title came during Arne Slot’s first season as manager, as they remain among the clubs with the most trophies in the 21st century.
3. Manchester United: 18 trophies

Despite barely winning trophies following the exit of Alex Ferguson, Manchester United continue to dominate the trophy record as an English club.
Their success under the Scottish head coach in the 21st century has earned them the most dominant English side title. They were the most successful side, who would win trophies for fun and challenge for the title every year.
However, the Red Devils have fallen way down the ladder in terms of competitiveness as they continue to rebuild their squad under different managers. The team will hopefully find momentum next season under Ruben Amorim.
2. Manchester City: 20 trophies

The fact that Manchester City are ranked second on this list illustrates the influence of their current owners.
After winning the Premier League, FA Cup, and Champions League, City won the genuine treble in 2023, capping a period of dominance during which they frequently set records in world football.
These triumphs created more chances for trophies, as Pep Guardiola’s squad won the Club World Cup and UEFA Super Cup in late 2023. More European triumphs may be in the works in the near future, as their unrelenting trophy accumulation indicates they will continue to rise through the 2020s.
1. Chelsea: 21 trophies

Chelsea have been at least a respectable cup football team for a long time, even before their 2003 financial boost. However, the silverware has hardly stopped since the Roman Abramovich takeover.
Since 2001, the Blues have really won 12 major cup championships, including three EFL Cups, two Champions Leagues, two Europa Leagues, and five FA Cups. Now under new ownership, they won the UEFA Conference League and recently the Club World Cup 2025.
