Euro 2024: France injury news and suspension list for semi-final against Spain

Adrien Rabiot will return to the lineup after serving a suspension against Portugal.
The Euro 2024 will have another high-octane game between the two most established nations of Europe when Spain and France face each other in the semi-final for the final spot.
France who entered the competition as one of the favourites thanks to their quality squad have failed to show that they merit a place in the final after not scoring an open play goal so far in the tournament. Their only goal has come via a penalty which Kylian Mbappe scored in a 1-1 draw against Poland.
Meanwhile, the rest of their goals came from the opposition (own goals). Now they face another big test in order to reach the final. Spain, on the other hand, have been spectacular and were one of the outsiders before showing that they shouldn’t be written off as they were the only team to win all their group games.
Youngsters such as Lamine Yamal and Nico Williams have been exemplary in the matches and have carried Spain’s attack on their slim shoulders and now they will have another chance to lead the La Roja to the final where they will either face Netherlands or England.
France injury news and suspension
France will have a big advantage in this game as they will have all the players fit and no suspension in contrast to Spain who are set to miss Dani Carvajal and Robin Le Normand to suspension, while Pedri to injury.
Now that everything has been cleared about the fact that France don’t have any disciplinary concerns, Didier Deschamps and the company are still concerned about Kylian Mbappe’s nose injury.
The former Paris Saint-Germain striker’s strike percentage at the European Championships sits at a pitiful 3%. He has managed just one goal from 20 shots thus far in Euro 2024.
Conversely, ‘Magic’ Mike Maignan is scheduled to start in front of an unaltered defence and boasts the best save percentage of any goalkeeper who has appeared in several games in Germany thus far, at 94%.
After serving a one-match punishment, Adrien Rabiot is back but it’s unclear if he can replace Eduardo Camavinga, who filled in for him perfectly in the French engine room against Portugal.
