Euro 2024: Who could England face in Round of 16?

Three Lions finished top of Group C.
Following a dull 0-0 stalemate in their final Group C encounter on Tuesday, Slovenia qualified for the Euro 2024 knockout stages while England placed first.
Even though they had another lacklustre performance, England had already advanced to the round of 16 and now sit atop the group with five points after the draw.
Despite having the same goal differential, number of goals scored, and disciplinary record, Slovenia and Denmark finished level on three points. However, due to Denmark’s UEFA rating, they are believed to have progressed in second place, going through alongside Slovenia, subject to verification.
England had the better play in a dull match with few genuine chances. Harry Kane and Phil Foden forced custodian Jan Oblak into easy saves, while Bukayo Saka had a goal disallowed for offside in the first half.

While Slovenia defended with determination and attempted to block every attack from their irate opponents, England controlled possession but had few shots on goal.
Which team will England face in the last 16?
Following their 1-0 victory over Serbia and their 1-1 draw with Denmark and 0-0 draw with Slovenia. Gareth Southgate’s team finished top of Group C. England will take on any of the top third-place sides from Group D, Group E, or Group F on June 30 if they top Group C.
Now matters currently stand, Ronald Koeman’s team will take on England in the round of 16 on Sunday, June 30 in Gelsenkirchen. Austria defeated the Dutch in their Group D final on Tuesday.
Thanks to Spain’s 1-0 victory over Albania, England advanced to the Euro 2024 knockout stages in Germany on Monday without ever having to kick a ball.
Due to the outcome in Dusseldorf, the Three Lions will, at the very least, place among the third-place teams who advance to the round of 16.
After winning Group C, England advanced to the more advantageous side of the draw, where they will avoid teams like France, Germany, and Spain.
