He is 39 years old and has left Europe, but still going strong. Cristiano Ronaldo, despite his age, is scoring goals week and week out.

He seems to prove the famous quote that ‘age is just a number’ time and time again with his performances on the football field. Questions have been raised that if it is time now for him to retire from football. However, he has shown every time that he has still plenty to offer on the football field.

However, he has worked hard since then and has scored countless goals to make himself available for the UEFA Euro 2024.

Portugal is ready to kick off their campaign in Euro 2024 with their opening game against Czech Republic. Cristiano Ronaldo is just not in the Portugal squad for the sake of it. He is the leader of the team and will definitely start in the striker position in the opening game against Czechia.

Ronaldo will be determined to leave his footprints in the opening game itself and take one of the most talented teams in the tournament to a good start in the tournament.
