FIFA Club World Cup 2025: All clubs qualified for quarter-finals

We are now heading towards the last eight of the tournament.
As the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 heads towards the quarterfinals, the lot of 32 top football teams that started the event will be reduced to eight.
The tournament is now in its knockout phase. The competition started with a lot of hype, but it’s still unclear if that enthusiasm has been met. The event has received mixed feedback from the fans and pundits alike.
There have been many surprises, mainly Brazilian teams showing their qualities on the pitch. Two South American clubs also made it to the knockout stages.
So far, opinions on the new-look competition are divided. Scenes of empty stadiums early in the tournament were concerning as discussions about the future of the vacant seats continue.
However, there have also been some heartwarming tales this summer, such as Flamengo and Botafogo, as well as useful innovations like the referee camera.
Meanwhile, top European teams such as Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Chelsea, PSG and Manchester City will be the top contenders to win the event this summer. But we can also expect other teams to cause an upset like Botafogo did in the group stage against PSG.
With the quarterfinal matches scheduled for July 4 and 5, the tournament’s semi-finals will be held on July 8 and 9.
In the final, the winner will be crowned on July 13 in East Rutherford, New Jersey, marking the competition’s dramatic conclusion.
