Real Madrid, Juventus and the Cityzens secured wins, and Al Hilal were held to yet another draw.

Matchday 9 comes to a close and it was a big day for the teams from Europe in the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup as all of them were successful in securing three points each. As things stand now, Juventus are on top of Group G and Real Madrid lead Group H.

Juventus were involved in another high-scoring win, but this time against Wydad AC as the Bianconeri came up with another complete performance to outplay their opponents. They have also sealed a spot in the round of 16 of the mega competition.

Pep Guardiola-led Manchester City have also booked their spot in the knockout stage of the mega event after a dominating win over Al Ain. The young guns of Man City performed well and helped their side come out on top.

Real Madrid have secured their first win of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025. It is also the first win for Xabi Alonso as the coach of Los Blancos. Their attack felt weak, but the midfielders took the matter into their own hands and scored goals to help the 10-man Real Madrid cruise to a win.

Al Hilal will have to wait yet again to wintheir first match of the FIFA CWC 2025. They were held to a goalless draw by RB Salzburg. It was a decent performance by both teams but it was only enough to help them secure a single point.

The teams from Group H still have to fight for that spot in the round of 16 of the mega competition and the upcoming fixtures between these teams are going to be intense.
