FIFA Club World Cup 2025: When does it start?

The FIFA Club World Cup 2025 edition is all set to take place in the United States of America. For this edition, a total of 32 teams will battle for the mega prize. It is going to be an interesting tournament to look at, with teams from all around the world involved.

The LaLiga and the European giants Real Madrid are the record winners of the FIFA CWC. Los Blancos have won the competition five times. The Premier League side Manchester City are the defending champions. They had won the 2023 edition of the tournament.

The tournament is going to be competitive, and we might end up seeing some unexpected outcomes along the way. The 32 teams are divided across eight groups. A group will consist of four teams. The top two teams from each group will get a chance to advance to the round of 16.

When does the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 start?

The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup is all set to kick off on June 14. The tournament will go on till July 13, 2025. The teams from each of the six international confederations, the AFC, CAF, Concacaf, CONMEBOL, OFC and UEFA, will clash in this historic version, and the best team will clinch the mega prize.

The Club World Cup will be played in major cities across the USA. A new piece of trophy was unveiled by FIFA in November 2024. The official match ball for the tournament has also been unveiled, which resembles the flag of the host nation, the USA.

The teams have started their training process and are preparing themselves by all means to stand a chance against the top teams from all over the world. There is a special mini transfer window active for all the teams participating in the FIFA CWC, also. It is to aid teams so that they can sign new players to strengthen their squad.
