Shakira has come up with another banger.

The United States of America, Canada and Mexico are all set to host the 2026 edition of the FIFA World Cup. Along with mega competition games, the supporters also wait for the theme songs of each edition. Even though some of them are forgotten, others have become hit classics.

This time around, FIFA’s flagship tournament will have a total of 48 teams battling for the prestigious title. There will be 104 fixtures beginning on June 11. The final of the competition is going to take place at MetLife Stadium in New Jersey this year. The most deserving team will have a chance to grab the prize.

Brazil have won the mega competition a record-breaking five times (1958, 1962, 1970, 1994 and 2022). Lionel Messi’s Argentina are the defending champions after winning the thrilling final in 2022 against France.

For all those years, there was a different and interactive theme song for the World Cup. The first-ever song was released in 1962. It is known as El Rock del Mundial by The Ramblers.

Now, after dropping “Waka Waka (This Time for Africa)” in 2010, Shakira has once again released a pleasing theme song for the upcoming edition of the FIFA World Cup. It is called “Dai Dai”, featuring Burna Boy.
