Flamengo exploring loan deal for Manchester United star Casemiro: Report

The midfielder has lost his place in the English club’s starting lineup.
According to the Brazilian publication Bolvaip, Flamengo are exploring a deal to sign Manchester United outcast Casemiro on loan with the Red Devils open to covering most of his salary.
Despite intense interest, the Brazilian club’s manager, former Premier League left-back Filipe Luís, is open to bringing the former Real Madrid star to South America.
Casemiro’s pay is the problem that could halt the transfer. Naturally, any team hoping to recruit the star is quite concerned about the expensive salary. In fact, some of Europe’s top clubs have backed out of signing Marcus Rashford due to a similar problem. To hopefully close the transaction, United have now agreed to pay a significant portion of Casemiro’s salary.
Brazilian reporter Jorge Nicola commented: “I can assure you that Flamengo investigated the player’s situation in the last few days.”
He continued: “The English club agree to loan him and help with part of his salary. Filipe Luís would love to count on Casemiro.
“Flamengo understand that, given all the figures, it is a very risky business. Even though United are willing to help with most of the salary, there would still be a very high amount to be paid.”
Due to his decline in the Old Trafford hierarchy, veteran midfielder Casemiro now seems to have been given a lifeline to return to the field.
Casemiro has struggled to give Manchester United the intensity that the Portuguese boss Rubern Amorim has demanded since he took over as manager.
As a result, the typical starter is now frequently taken off the field and forced to watch games from the sidelines.
The midfield player finds this frustrating, but United accountants find it much more frustrating because Casemiro, one of the club’s top earners, isn’t playing. Casemiro makes £350,000 a week.
As a result, the club are eager to let go of the star. Turkish teams Galatasaray and Besiktas, as well as the Brazilian club, have recently expressed interest.
