The Frenchman finally managed to join his dream club this summer.

At the meeting of the General Assembly, Kylian Mbappé’s attempts to join the team were acknowledged, while Vinícius Jr. was hailed as “the best player in the world” by Florentino Pérez.

Pérez used his speech at the General Assembly to send a strong message to his important players, especially Kylian Mbappé and Vinícius Jr. Speaking to the Socios, he praised the Brazilian winger’s skill and tenacity:

“We are proud of a player like Vinícius. For us, and for many football fans, he is the best player in the world. Dear Vini, everything you have unjustly endured has shaped you as both a player and a person. The Madrid people are proud of you.”

These comments are made at a time when Vinícius Jr., despite missing out on this year’s Ballon d’Or, is regarded as one of the finest in the world.

Kylian Mbappé, who joined the Merengues this summer following years of rumours, was also praised by Pérez. “Mbappé’s arrival has been a major event in the world of football. He made an effort that many cannot even imagine. And he has already helped us win the UEFA Super Cup.” he said, highlighting the Frenchman’s efforts to make this transfer happen.

Kylian Mbappe’s reported salary at Real Madrid

According to reports, the captain of the French national team makes €15 million net annually, which is half of his previous enormous salary at PSG.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the World Cup champion was making €72 million (£61 million/$78 million) in gross income at PSG. He will make €26 million (£22 million/$28 million) at Madrid, with €15 million (£13 million/$16 million) coming from net earnings.

Since his move to Los Blancos Mbappe has not been able to translate his PSG form at the club and has since laboured to find the back of the net frequently.

He has just nine goals across all competitions, and the player has mainly operated as a striker. However, no injury to Vinicius Junior will provide the 25-year-old an excellent chance to play on the left wing and get back to his footing as Real Madrid will next face Liverpool in the Champions League.
