France have officially unveiled their squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, with head coach Didier Deschamps placing his trust in a blend of proven stars and emerging talent as Les Bleus prepare for another shot at global glory.
Led by the likes of Kylian Mbappé, Dembele, and a strong core of experienced internationals, the squad reflects France’s ambition to reclaim the world title, with expectations sky-high ahead of the tournament in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Some big names, such as Real Madrid’s Eduardo Camavinga, Liverpool’s Hugo Ekitike, Tottenham’s Randal Kolo Muani, AS Monaco’s Paul Pogba & PSG’s Lucas Chevalier, have missed the call-up and are set to miss the tournament.
Key surprises included the inclusion of young goalkeeper Robin Risser, Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta (preferred over Randal Kolo Muani), and defender Maxence Lacroix.
Les Blues are in Group I of the 2026 FIFA World Cup and will face Senegal, Iraq, and Norway.
