Arsenal ace Gabriel Martinelli struggling with calf issue during international duty with Brazil

The Gunners are currently facing injury setbacks to key players.
Arsenal forward Gabriel Martinelli could be unavailable for Brazilās next game after suffering a calf problem during training with A Selecao. During the practice, the winger couldnāt continue after the Brazil Football Federation (CBF) revealed after the MRI scan that he had an Edema on his right calf.
Martinelli was seen using tape on his calf and now remains doubtful for Brazilās next game World Cup qualifiers game against Peru on Wednesday.
However, it now remains to be seen as the severity of Martinelliās injury and whether he will be available for the South American teamās next game.
But this is a big blow for the Gunners, who are already dealing with numerous injury problems. Now Martinelli becomes the next latest addition to the list after Bukayo Saka was limped off in Englandās 2-1 defeat against Greece.
Saka was later withdrawn from the squad for Englandās next game and the forward travelled back to London to start his recovery. The Gunners will hope that he recovers on time before their next game.
Meanwhile, Martin Odegaard remains a long-term absentee after the midfielder sustained an ankle injury during the Norway match in the September international break. Reports reveal that he could be unavailable until December.
Now Arsenal will hope that Martinelliās injury isnāt serious and the forward will be back for the Gunnersā match after the international break.
Martinelli was struggling for form after the start of the new season but now seems to have picked up his footing in the game as he hopes to continue his impressive display in the league.
Martinelli has appeared in 10 matches in all competitions for Arsenal and has two goals this season. Arsenal are third in the table and are tied in points with Manchester City. The Gunners will next be in action against Bournemouth.
