Die Mannschaft will return to action with international friendlies.

Germany have confirmed their squad for their upcoming international friendlies this month, where they will play Switzerland and Ghana in their preparation for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

With Jonas Urbig and Lennart Karl on the team, most of the German squad have players from Bayern Munich. Despite the remarks made by head coach Julian Nagelsmann just a few weeks ago, Jamal Musiala has been left out.

Kai Havertz, Kevin Schade, Anton Stach, and Josha Vagnoman—all of whom have been away from the national team for a considerable amount of time—are returning to the squad. The absence of Angelo Stiller, however, has been the most unexpected.

In addition to bringing back Deniz Undav, who has been outstanding for VfB Stuttgart, Nagelsmann persisted in his attempts to reintegrate Leroy Sané of Galatasaray into the team.

During this international break, Nagelsmann’s team will play Ghana and Switzerland. Furthermore, their next two encounters will take place just before the World Cup, when they will play Finland and the United States before beginning their WC campaign. They will be hoping to go far into the competition this time.
