Ghana squad for November international break; Mohammed Kudus included

Ghana will face Niger and Angola in AFCON qualifiers.
Otto Addo, the national team coach of Ghana, has selected a 25-man team for the Black Stars’ pivotal final two 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying matches against Angola and Niger in an attempt to maintain their qualification prospects.
With just two points, Ghana are currently in third place in Group F. To have any hope of overtaking second-place Sudan, who currently hold seven points, they must prevail in a doubleheader on November 15 and 18.
Addo’s team are at serious risk of missing out on the 2025 AFCON tournament in Morocco because they have had a difficult time qualifying thus far.
The fact that Thomas Partey of Arsenal is still out, after missing the last international break, has made the position of coach even more challenging.
Razak Simpson and Emmanuel Antwi have both received their first call-ups, making them two new members of the team.
Mohammed Salisu, a defender for AS Monaco, will not be available for Ghana, though, as he has not fully recovered from the injury he sustained against Sudan last month.
As Ghana attempt to go closer to Sudan and first-place Angola, who have already secured their spot in the finals, Mohammed Kudus, Jordan Ayew, and Inaki Williams all keep their spots in an experienced group.
With Niger presently holding up the last spot in the group, Addo is aware that his team will only have a genuine chance of stealing one of the qualification slots if they get the most points from the two games.
Ghana’s charge will likely be led by regulars like Kudus, Joseph Paintsil, and Lawrence Ati Zigi, but their aspirations will be severely damaged by Partey and Salisu’s absence.
