Ghana vs Angola Predicted lineup, betting tips, odds, injury news, H2H, telecast | AFCON 2025 Qualifiers
The Black Stars have some eye-catching players in their ranks.
Ghana, considered amongst the best teams in Africa, have faded over the last years after failing to cement themselves in the recent tournaments. However, the team looks promising this time with a couple of excellent additions with Leicester City’s Abdul Fatawu among the players who have already caught the eye. The Black Stars are drawn in Group F alongside Niger, Sudan and their matchday 1 opponent Angola.
Angola under the management of Pedro Goncalves have become a resilient side. They are unbeaten in their last five matches. The nation even recently won the COSAFA Cup defeating Namibia in the final with a dominant 5-0 win.
They are now set to kick start their qualifiers for a place in the AFCON 2025 after enjoying a good run last time out in this competition. They had lost to Nigeria in the AFCON 2023 quarterfinals. Angola are set to face the Black Stars in the opening match followed by a match against Sudan on 10th September.

Players to Watch
Mohammed Kudus (Ghana)
The West Ham United player will be a dangerous man for the team in the upcoming AFCON qualifiers. Kudus had a wonderful campaign last term where he netted 14 goals and provided another six assists in the Premier League. His versatility to play several positions upfront can prove to be a game-changer for the Black Stars who are stacked with a wealth of attacking talent upfront.
Zito Luvumbo (Angola)
The Cagliari man remains the country’s biggest hope to produce goals in this match after going through a good campaign last term in the Serie A. Last season, he made 32 appearances for them scoring four goals and assisting another six. Luvumbo will be raring to make his mark in the team after already featuring for a handful of appearances. His experience in playing top-flight football could prove to be a vital for the team.
