Greece announce squad for March international break; Kostas Tsimikas included

Greece will face Scotland in their UEFA Nations League matches.
Greece have revealed their roster for the Nations League play-off match with Scotland later this month. The first leg will be played at Greece’s home and the second leg in Scotland.
To take on Steve Clarke’s team, Ivan Jovanovic has chosen players like Vangelis Pavlidis of Benfica and Kostas Tsimikas of Liverpool.
The 62-year-old has selected a formidable 26-man squad, who last October achieved their historic first-ever victory over England at Wembley.
Greece called up 17-year-old Konstantinos Karetsas for the first time to their team for this month’s Nations League play-off match against Scotland when the Genk midfielder turned back on Belgium.
Karetsas, who was born in Genk, has been linked to Arsenal, Chelsea, and Real Madrid. His father claims that he turned down a Manchester City offer. He began playing for his native country at the under-15 level and made his debut for the Belgium Under-21 team in October.
Copenhagen’s center-back, Pantelis Chatzidiakos, Sotiris Alexandropoulos of Standard Liege, Christos Zafeiris of Slavia Prague, Tasos Chatzigiovanis of Asteris Tripoli, and Fotis Ioannidis of Panathinaikos all make their comebacks after missing the match against Finland in November
Manager Ivan Jovanovic has added Karetsas to his 26-man roster, but Tasos Bakasetas, the 31-year-old midfielder who has missed Panathinaikos’ last four games, is not playing.
