Steve Clarke’s side made their route to the summer competition by winning UEFA Group C in the qualifying round. Their direct qualification in the tournament was powered by their dramatic 4-2 victory over Denmark in their final qualifier. Scotland have qualified for the World Cup for the first time since 1998.

Les Grenadiers qualified for the coveted tournament over Costa Rica, Honduras, and Nicaragua, becoming one of the lowest-ranked nations to qualify in the ongoing competition. Haiti is currently 83rd in the FIFA rankings, while Scotland is 42nd.
For Haiti, Jean‐Ricner Bellegarde’s partnership with Josué Casimir will be crucial in midfield, as Wilson Isidor will be responsible for turning chances into goals.
