'Happy Birthday' - Cristiano Ronaldo wishes famous YouTuber IShowSpeed

IShowSpeed is a die-hard fan of the Portuguese star

With his quirky and entertaining videos, Darren Watkins Jr., also known as IShowSpeed, never fails to astound the Internet. Cristiano Ronaldo gave the YouTuber the greatest present as he celebrated his 20th birthday.

“Happy birthday to me, I’m 20 now,” Speed posted on Instagram, posting a number of photos from his birthday celebration. The YouTuber is seen holding two cakes in the first picture: a “Ronaldo” cake with the football player’s cutouts on it and a Monkey D Luffy cake from the well-known anime One Piece.

However, his birthday got special when the former Real Madrid star wished the famous YouTuber on his Instagram post. Ronaldo commented on the post, saying, “Happy Birthday, Speed! I hope you had a wonderful day. Stay fast and wild!“. His was quickly circulated on other social media sites after fans grabbed images of it.

The post received more than two million views and sparked a variety of responses. Is the greatest of all time Ronaldo mentioning Speed? One user said, “That’s the crossover we didn’t know we needed but now can’t live without.” Another user remarked, “I know Speed is doing quadruple backflips somewhere reading that comment.”

The YouTuber also met his hero, Ronaldo, in Lisbon in 2024 following Portugal’s Euro qualification match versus Bosnia and Herzegovina. On his left arm, IShowSpeed also sports a tattoo of a football player. He released a song called Ronaldo in 2022.

Speed has been one of the biggest fans of the 37-year-old and the famous YouTuber also feels that Ronaldo is the greatest of all time in a goat debate against Lionel Messi.

Ronaldo, meanwhile is currently spending his twilight years playing for the Saudi Pro League club Al-Nassr as he nears retirement. The former Juventus forward is on the verge of signing a contract extension with the Middle Eastern Club.
