The striker is reportedly being courted by the Spanish club Barcelona.
Although Harry Kane’s contract with Bayern Munich expires in the summer of 2027, rumours have it that the England captain may exercise a release clause to leave the team the next summer, raising questions about his future.

Harry Kane, an English striker, made it plain that his head, his form, and his future are all still with Bayern Munich. This is despite reports linking him to the FC Barcelona shortlist as a possible replacement for Robert Lewandowski.
Harry Kane addresses Barcelona links

In an interview with Sport Bild, Harry Kane stated that he feels “very good” in his current circumstances and doesn’t see any need to consider making a change for the upcoming campaign. Kane maintains that he has no intention of leaving anytime soon.
“I haven’t had any contact with anyone. I feel very comfortable, even though we haven’t yet discussed my situation with Bayern.”
“So no rush… I’m really happy in Munich. It’s very unlikely that anything will change after this season,” Kane told BILD.
Harry Kane surfaced as a possible substitute in Barcelona’s plan if Lewandowski leaves. However, the Englishman swiftly rejected the notion, emphasising that he is totally dedicated to living in Germany.
“It’s very improbable that anything will change after this season,” Kane added, highlighting the 2026 FIFA World Cup that will take place next summer, which makes big decisions even less likely. When asked if Bayern should be concerned, Kane categorically denied it.
Kane was signed by the Bayern Munich board for about €100 million, a record amount for the team. Kane’s figures back up the assertion. He is now one of Europe’s finest forwards and the mainstay of Bayern’s attack, having scored 24 goals in 18 games in all competitions this season.
Kane appears to have firmly closed the door, even though Barcelona are still considering their options. His position is clear: content, at ease, and determined to keep leading the Bayern project. If anything changes in the future, it will be due to time rather than rumours.
Will Kane leave Bayern?
He has ruled out any chance of leaving the club next summer.
When is Kane’s Bayern deal expiring?
It will end in June 2027.
How much is his release clause?
His release clause is said to be around €65m.
