The England international has a busy summer schedule with national and club teams.

Harry Kane, the captain of England, feels that when international football is scheduled, the health of players is not taken into account.

After the end of the season with Bayern Munich, Kane will have a busy summer ahead of him as the pressure for elite players to push their bodies to the maximum level will rise.

On June 2, two days after the UEFA Champions League final, the 31-year-old will depart for the upcoming England camp. After that, he will have five days before the start of the next FIFA Club World Cup, which takes place from June 15 to July 15.

Harry Kane sees the extra games as a chance to break his trophy duck and seek silverware. However, in contrast, the former Tottenham striker is angry at the disregard for player welfare.

He was cautious, though, that if players are not given enough time to recover before the 2025–2026 season, it could result in more injuries and a decline in quality.

He said: “I don’t think the players are listened to that much if I’m totally honest. But also everyone wants their piece, their tournament, their prize, and the players are kind of the people who have to get on with it.”

“But it is what it is. I love playing football, so I’m never going to complain about playing football. I think if you manage it well, with your coaches and your manager and your clubs, there are ways of getting more rest in certain moments.

“But it’s not an easy question, it’s not an easy situation. I think there could be a balance from both sides, but we’d have to see how that pans out.”

Harry Kane will return to Bayern after another strong showing for England, where he scored his 71st goal for his country. He hopes to lead the Bavarians to victory and bag the Bundesliga crown. They are six points ahead of Bayer Leverkusen and will play St. Pauli on March 29.
