Cristiano Ronaldo will end the year on a prolific note the striker’s last game came against Al-Ittihad where he had a name on the scoresheet but it was not enough to save his side from a defeat as they lost 2-1.
Regardless of the club’s poor performance, Ronaldo has remained at his clinical best for both club and country as his goalscoring record remains intact.
One of the big milestones for Ronaldo this year was reaching 900 goals when he scored for Portugal during the UEFA Nations League matches, and since then he has produced 916 goals. This was one of the biggest landmarks in the former Real Madrid star and now reaching 1000 goals won’t be a big problem if he continues his fine run.
At the age of 39-year-old, he has not lost his goalscoring touch and demonstrated his consistency in front of the goal. The Al-Nassr forward is currently the top scorer of the team this season as well.
However, he now will take a much-needed vacation from a short holiday as Al-Nassr won’t be back in action until next year. They will face Al-Okhdood Club in the Saudi Pro League on the ninth of January.

Cristiano Ronaldo is still playing at the height of his career but if Al-Nassr are to win the championship, all of the players will need to perform exceptionally well this season. They are currently third in the table and third in the AFC Champions League Elite standings.
Meanwhile, for Ronaldo, he still remains one of the best goalscorers around the globe and given his current speed he is scoring goals it won’t be surprising if he reaches 1000 goals in the coming years.
