How many Guinness World Records does Cristiano Ronaldo hold?

CR7 recently added another Guinness World Record to his name to equal Lionel Messi.

Cristiano Ronaldo was awarded another award before the Portugal vs Denmark UEFA Nations League 2024-25 quarter-final second-leg fixture. The Portuguese talisman has completed more wins than any other player in his international football career. Ronaldo was granted an award for winning 132 matches in his international career.

The Portugal national football team, on the same night, defeated Denmark, which increased the number for Ronaldo from 132 to 133 wins in his international career. Now, CR7 has 41 awards in the Guinness Book of World Records, which is equal to Argentina’s Lionel Messi.

Cristiano Ronaldo has achieved almost everything on the football field and has also been able to bag some records off the field. From scoring the most goals in football history to having the most social media followers, CR7 has done it all. He started his journey at a football club in Portugal, Sporting CP. In his early days, he showed great potential.

Due to this, Ronaldo was picked up by Sir Alex Ferguson to play for the Premier League giants, Manchester United. CR7 was among the ones being named the best player on the planet since then. He went on to win multiple trophies and had one of the best seasons in the Premier League during the 2007/08 campaign.

After joining Real Madrid in 2009, Cristiano Ronaldo saw the peak of his career, where he went on to score 450 goals in just 438 games in all competitions. The Portuguese talisman became the first-ever player to win five UEFA Champions League titles. While playing for the LaLiga giants, Ronaldo also completed 100 UCL goals and became the first ever player to do so.

CR7 also joined the YouTube platform recently, where his channel, ‘UR Cristiano,’ was the fastest-growing channel on the platform. Ronaldo is currently aiming to play till the 2026 FIFA World Cup and also wants to score 1,000 goals in his football career. The Portuguese talisman is still looking fit and ready to be in action for both his club and country.
