Ronaldo doesn’t have the best of records when it comes to league titles.
The Portuguese is one of the greatest players of all time, given his individual qualities and awards won. When it comes to league titles, Cristiano Ronaldo hasn’t had much success in his career.
Cristiano Ronaldo, a Portuguese football player, has won five Ballon d’Or accolades, more than any European player during his career.
Considered by many to be among the best players of all time, Ronaldo has scored 140 goals in the UEFA Champions League and 14 goals in the UEFA European Championship, which he won with Portugal in 2016.
For club and country, he has scored a record 934 goals in his career. In addition, he is among the few athletes known to have played in more than 1,250 professional games.
Despite all these individual achievements, Cristiano Ronaldo also boasts an impressive trophy collection. The forward has won 33 trophies in his career, but among those 33 trophies, only a few have been league titles.
How many league titles has Cristiano Ronaldo won in his career?
Ronaldo won his first-ever league title with Manchester United when he joined them from Sporting CP. He went on to lift three Premier League titles in a row before leaving for Real Madrid.
Cristiano Ronaldo spent nine years in Spain, although he only won two LaLiga championships. Before winning his first league title with Real Madrid in 2011–12, he spent his first two seasons with the team, finishing second in LaLiga.
He then had to wait five more years after winning his first league title until he did so again in 2016–17. Ronaldo had a lot of success with Real Madrid in Europe, of course, but his league trophy cabinet there was rather small.
Despite only two league titles in Spain, the Portuguese sensation joined Juventus in the hope of adding more titles to his less stacked top division title collection. In Italy, Ronaldo spent three seasons and managed to collect two Serie A titles.
He then re-joined Man United. He endured an abysmal time there and left the club in the middle of the second season after an internal issue with the club. He signed for Saudi club Al-Nassr.
So here in the Middle East, the 40-year-old has struggled to steer them to the title and has only won the Arab Club Champions Cup with them.
