Indian fans left disappointed as LaLiga matches not telecasted over weekend

The streaming service is facing technical difficulties in telecasting the LaLiga games.
Indians fans were left disappointed over the weekend after they couldn’t watch their favourite matches in LaLiga. Most of the fans were looking forward to watching their teams and supporting them with Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid all playing. But it seems like they will have to spend this weekend with no LaLiga football.
However, this has been mainly due to technical difficulties. Therefore at the moment, no LaLiga games will be telecasted by GXR, who have brought the telecasting rights of the league for Indian fans.
The company also made an apology tweet explaining why they won’t be able to broadcast any game this weekend. It read as: ”Hey GXR fans, unfortunately, due to technical issues, we won’t be streaming LALIGA matches this weekend. We’re working on resolving this as quickly as possible to bring you back the action you love! Thank you for your patience and support.”
However, the problem has not been solved yet and it appears that the fans might have to miss this weekend’s LaLiga matches.
This is a big disappointment for the Indian fans who were looking forward to watching the LaLiga games. The league has a huge number of fans from the nation.
This will also be a big loss for the league as they will lose a big number of viewers for this weekend given India contributes to a vast number of viewers for the league.
However, the fans will hope that such inconvenience doesn’t persist given the season is far from over and many big games are still on the calendar. The Spanish league has a huge fandom in India. Besides the Premier League, it is the second most followed league by Indian fans.
Fans in India can only hope that this doesn’t continue over the next weekend as the league will witness top games next week with Real Madrid facing Atletico Madrid which will also influence the title race.
