Jamaica vs Venezuela: All-time head-to-head record | Copa America 2024

La Vinotinto are leading Group B with six points.
Jamaica scored their first goal of the tournament on matchday two, but they are still chasing that coveted first point. The three goals conceded in their most recent game tied their greatest loss (3-0 vs Uruguay in 2016) and the most goals they have ever let up in a single Copa America encounter.
Jamaica have won three straight games coming into this tournament, but they might lose three straight on Sunday for the first time since Heimir Hallgrimsson took over in September 2022.
Prior to the start of the Copa America 2024, Jamaica had won five straight games in which they were tied or behind at the half. However, they have now subsequently lost back-to-back games in those situations.
Venezuela, who had another strong performance on Wednesday, will advance to the knockout stage for the third time in the last four iterations of this competition.
After a 1-0 victory over Uruguay during the 2016 tournament held in the United States, this squad had not won a game in the tournament until their victory over Mexico.
Fernando Batista’s side have the ability to finish the Copa America group stage with a perfect record, something no other Venezuelan manager has ever accomplished in this competition.
With just one goal allowed in the tournament’s group stage, Venezuela would tie the 2016 and 2019 teams for the least number of goals surrendered as a team if they can keep the Jamaicans off the scoreboard this coming weekend.
