The Colombian striker has four goals in the Saudi Pro League.

Jhon Duran has opened up about what it feels like playing alongside Cristiano Ronaldo. The Colombian centre-forward still can’t digest that he is playing with Ronaldo. The player went on to say that it feels like he is in a video game with him.

The 21-year-old Colombian striker, who will earn £320,000 a week tax-free for the next five years, signed with Al Nassr after the club agreed for a £64 million fee with Aston Villa at the end of January. In contrast, his Villa contract was £70,000 per week before deductions.

As a strike partner with Ronaldo, who just turned 40, he has already made himself at home, hitting four goals in his first two Saudi Pro League games.

Duran, who scored two goals against Al Ahli on Thursday, explained what it was like to line up beside the former Real Madrid and Manchester United player:

“It feels like I’m playing FIFA Career Mode. I’m celebrating goals with Cristiano Ronaldo.”

Stefano Pioli’s club maintained their third-place standing with the 3-2 victory over Al Ahli. Two minutes from the end, Duran scored the game-winning goal after opening the scoring with a brilliant individual effort.

After gaining control of his own half’s right flank, he surged forward, sidestepped two opponents, entered the penalty box, and scored.

Monday night’s AFC Champions League final group stage matchup pits Al Nassr against Persepolis on the road.

Despite trailing domestic rivals Al Hilal and Al Ahli in the table, they have already secured a position in the round of 16 with 16 points from their first seven games.

Meanwhile, in the Saudi Pro League Al-Ittihad lead the table while Al-Hilal are second and Al-Nassr are third eight points behind the first place. It appears that Al-Nassr are now in the race for the title this season after it looked like they are out.
