Man United's Joshua Zirkzee open to Serie A return; Juventus interested

The Dutch international has scored just one goal for the Red Devils.
Manchester United’s summer signing Joshua Zirkzee could depart in January as the club are looking for a possible loan move for the forward to further progress his development, reports suggest.
It is also understood that the striker is open for a move in January and his likely destination could be Serie A league. Juventus are open to signing the striker.
The Dutchman arrived at United from Bologna this summer for €36 fee following an impressive time under Thiago Motta, who is now the head coach of Juventus.
The former Paris Saint-Germain player would be keen to be reunited with the 23-year-old in January given how he helped the forward enhance his game, reports suggest.
Joshua Zirkzee’s form so far with Man United
Meanwhile, at United Zirkzee has struggled to make an impact despite scoring on his debut, as he is failing to compete with Rasmus Hojlund and Erik ten Hag’s system has not suited his playing style so far.
Meanwhile, Juventus are looking to add a striker and the 23-year-old will be an excellent addition to Motta’s side given he has already played under and won’t take much time to settle at the club.
However, United are not looking to sell him but would rather sanction a loan deal that will also help Zirkzee progress in performance and return to the Premier League with more experience.
So far he has played in eight Premier League matches this season and has a goal to his name. It will be interesting to see what transpires with his future in the winter transfer window.
However, if United decides to loan the Dutch player then they will be left with no option which could be risky for the club as Hojlund has recently returned from an injury. They will have to contemplate their options before coming to a decision.
Man United will next be in action in the Europa League when they travel to face Jose Mourinho’s side Fenerbahce on Thursday night.
