Real Madrid star Jude Bellingham sidelined for a month due to muscle injury

The midfielder won the UCL last season.
Real Madrid have been hit with a big blow as their star player Jude Bellingham is set to miss an entire month with plantar fasciitis injury in his right leg and will be out until late September.
This means he will miss England’s UEFA Nations League games against Ireland and Finland under interim head coach Le Carsley.
The midfielder has been a central figure for both club and country and this is a massive setback for Madrid and the Three Lions. The former Borussia Dortmund player returned to Real after Euro 2024 and helped the Spanish club win the UEFA Super Cup in a 2-0 win against Atalanta.
A club statement said: “Following tests carried out today on our player Jude Bellingham, he has been diagnosed with an injury to the plantar thin muscle of his right leg.”
When asked if the 21-year-old be available for Madrid’s next game, Carlo Ancelotti said: “Bellingham had a blow, he is being assessed,” but it has now confirmed that the midfielder would miss the next month of action.
Bellingham was a standout player for Real last season when the club signed him for a record fee from Dortmund and the England international went on to win the Champions League and LaLiga with the Los Blancos.
He also helped Three Lions reach the final of Euro 2024 where they lost 2-1 to Spain. He has ascendant to great heights but the recent blow will see the player sit out of the action for a month.
He will be back in late September, the club will have manage without their star midfielder. But for England, they have enough options to pick in the attacking midfield role in their upcoming Nations League matches.
But, Bellingham will play this season as a midfielder because Kylian Mbappe, who Real bought, will play in the No. 9 position, considering Bellingham spent much of the previous season as a false nine.
