The midfielder feels he can still contribute to a top side in the Premier League.

Kevin De Bruyne has not ruled out continuing playing in England even after he leaves Manchester City at the conclusion of this season

The 33-year-old was discussing his future with Norwegian journalist Jan Aage Fjortoft. Kevin De Bruyne stated that he would be open to any and all offers, including remaining in England.

When asked if his career in England had ended, Kevin De Bruyne responded as follows to Fjortoft:  “I don’t know. Honestly I don’t know. The decision to leave has not been long. Nothing can be decided in one week in the football world. I haven’t seen my family since the decision. I have to speak to them and then I will see whichever team wants me. So I don’t know. I have no idea.”

“There is always a challenge, you know. I don’t know what’s going to happen next season. If teams come and then convince me that they have a nice sport project. I know I am obviously not the youngest anymore. I still think I am able to perform on the highest level.”

” I don’t know what teams are interested or what they want to do. Whatever project [is] available – I am willing to listen. I love football – I love to play football and if a nice project comes and my family is also good with that, we will be able to make a decision.”

After 10 outstanding seasons, it was revealed earlier this week that the Belgian midfielder would leave the Etihad Stadium. He departs with two PFA Players of the Year honours, a UEFA Champions League trophy, and six Premier League winners’ medals.

Kevin De Bruyne still has a few years left in his playing career at the top. The decorated midfielder will be looking to end on a high with more trophies with his next club.

Next Saturday’s away trip to Everton will immediately be followed by a midweek matchup with Aston Villa, another team vying for a spot in the top five.
