Kylian Mbappe becomes youngest player to reach 500 goal contributions

The Frenchman scored against Atletico Madrid in a 1-1 draw.
Despite the Madrid derby ending in a 1-1 draw, with his goal against Atletico Madrid, Kylian Mbappé once again made his mark in football history.
In his Madrid derby debut, the Frenchman handed the Santiago Bernabéu spectators a lot to celebrate. Against Atletico Madrid, Mbappé scored in the 50th minute to give the home team a point in the match that ended in a 1-1 draw.
In addition to helping Los Blancos find the back of the net against their opponents, the goal allowed the Real Madrid forward to add even another record to his already impressive resume. Mbappé reached 500 career goals contribution following his goal against Atletico and in doing so he became the youngest player in history to do so.
Kylian Mbappé, who is 26 years old, accomplished this goal way more quickly than other greats of the sport like Neymar, Lionel Messi, and Cristiano Ronaldo.
With 23 goals so far this year in all competitions, Mbappé leads Real Madrid as the top scorer of the club and is second in the LaLiga goalscorer list. He has scored in six contests and three finals thus far while wearing a white shirt.
The Frenchman has finally picked his form at the right time for the Los Blancos as it will provide the club with a great attacking dynamic with Vinicius Jr and Rodrygo also adding their quality.
Mbappe’s main priority was to lead Madrid to a win but a draw saw them get only a point from the game. Real are now only one point ahead of the second place Atletico and five points above Barcelona.
However, if the Catalan club wins today they will then be only two points below the Spanish capital side in the table. Real will now be next back in action on Tuesday night when they face Manchester City in the Champions League play-offs rounds.
