The forward missed the previous training due to injury.
Two days before their pivotal UEFA Champions League quarterfinal second leg against Bayern Munich at the Allianz Arena, Real Madrid supporters probably took a big breath when Kylian Mbappé skipped training on Sunday.
During Real Madrid’s 1-1 draw with Girona over the weekend, the Frenchman was elbowed in the head. He then shared a picture of the wound on Instagram.
Following the injury, the forward skipped the first training as he struggled to complete the training drills due to the discomfort.
This created worries among the medical team about whether the forward will be able to recover before the UCL game, given Madrid will head into the second leg with a goal down.

However, Mbappé’s return to training with his colleagues on Monday gave Real a boost. He is therefore expected to start Wednesday’s match in Munich, where Real will try to overcome a 1-2 deficit from the first leg.
His participation in Monday’s training indicates that the problem is now under control. Real Madrid employees are carefully controlling his workload without imposing any significant limitations.
Kylian Mbappe’s return to full training is regarded as a clear sign that he will be available for selection as Madrid get ready for one of their most crucial games of the season—the Champions League match.
The forward has been the club’s top goalscorer in the league and Champions League. He will be fully focused on leading Los Blancos to a comeback at Allianz Arena in the second leg.

They will meet on Thursday at 12:30 am IST on 16 April.
