According to Marca, Kylian Mbappe is set to assume the role of main penalty taker at Real Madrid starting the new season. Vinicius Jr. was the club’s leading penalty taker, but that duty will now be handed to the former Paris Saint-Germain player.

His 44 goals, for which he won the European Golden Boot and Pichichi awards, were instrumental in building his stature in the club. With the number 10 on his back, Mbappé is expected to surpass Vinicius to take the lead in Real Madrid’s attack.
