The forward had an eventual night against Madrid players.

The majority of the eyes were on 18-year-old youngster Lamine Yamal before the kick-off for the most highly entertaining game in the Spanish division between Barcelona and Real Madrid.

However, in the buildup to the match, Lamine Yamal revealed in an interview that Real Madrid is a cheating club that steals with the help of referees, which caused massive backlash from Madrid fans and players.

Yamal was undoubtedly in the limelight even before the kick-off, and when the game started, the forward’s every touch was whistled by the home fans.

There was more to come despite Madrid winning the game 2-1. Before that, Barca had a chance to equalise the match when Jules Kounde missed the biggest chance of the game after Yamal’s lobbed saw him failing to control the ball on his chest and ultimately losing the ball in Madrid’s box.

However, after the final whistle, Lamine Yamal went on to shake hands with Real Madrid captain Dani Carvajal. However, the full-back turned down the chance to shake hands with him but instead told him: “You speak too much, too much.”

Yamal was then swamped by Madrid players as goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois approached Lamine Yamal to confront him before Eduardo Camavinga tried to calm down the situation and tried sending Yamal towards the tunnel. After heading towards the tunnel, Vinicius Junior wanted to have his say, and Yamal told him to meet him in the tunnel.

But it only escalated the situation as more Madrid and Barca players got into the ugly melee, but Yamal eventually found his way to the tunnel, and things went back to normal.

It brought back the memories of old El Clásico, where both sets of players would get into ugly fights and cause massive chaos on the field that would sometimes need interference from the club’s staff.

Meanwhile, Yamal failed to back up his comments on the field; he would certainly reflect on his poor performance against Madrid, who are now five points clear of Barcelona at the top spot.

Why did Yamal tell Madrid’s player to come to the tunnel?

He was confronted by Madrid players because of his comments and asked them to come to the tunnel.

What did Yamal say before El Clásico?

He said Real Madrid steal with the help of referees.
