When Lamine Yamal was selected for Spain’s Euro 2024 squad, he was just 16 years old. He even had to travel to Germany with his school assignments.

The 17-year-old played a crucial role in the Spain team that won Euro 2024. Yamal produced four assists in addition to that goal against France in the semifinals.

Yamal hasn’t had an opportunity to score or provide an assist against the Dutch because he is scheduled to play against the Netherlands with the senior Spain squad for the first time.

But during his U-17 Spain days, he did play against them. Additionally, he scored two goals in a 3-0 victory for Spain in the 2023 U-17 Algarve tournament.
