Preview: Liverpool vs Brighton Prediction, lineups, betting tips & odds | FA Cup 2025-26

The Seagulls have only won one of their last five games against the Reds.

Liverpool FC are now going to host Brighton & Hove Albion for their fourth round fixture of the 2025-26 FA Cup. Anfield will witness this entertaining contest between these Premier League sides.

The Arne Slot-led side have been inconsistent with their performances this season, and the upcoming game is not going to be an easy outing for them. They will be at home for their cup fixture, and Liverpool FC must use it to their advantage. The Reds have won two of their last three games at home.

The Seagulls have underperformed in their last two matches and are likely to struggle in their upcoming fixture. Their performances against the Reds in the last few meetings have been poor. Brighton must work on their strategy so that they can put up a strong fight in their FA Cup contest.

Dominik Szoboszlai is going to be an important aspect of the squad for Liverpool FC. He can control the midfield well and is surely capable of scoring goals. The 25-year-old scored a stunning free-kick against Man City, but it was not enough to get the Reds a win.

He will be a constant threat to the opponent’s defence.

Danny Welbeck (Brighton)

Danny Welbeck will be looking to step up his game so that he can help his side stand a chance against the Reds. Even though he is not in top form, the 35-year-old is going to be one of the main men in the attacking front for Brighton. Welbeck will be keen to put in all his efforts here.
