Liverpool are preparing for the upcoming season. But it’s not like any other season. The departure obviously was very emotional for the fans and the players alike.

Arne Slot has taken over the responsibilities from the German coach. This summer, the Reds parted ways with several players including goalkeeper Adrián. The Spanish keeper now could be seen in action against his former employers in this upcoming pre-season friendly.

Adrián had joined the Spanish side Real Betis. The LaLiga outfit are all set to compete with the English giants tomorrow morning. The team led by Manuel Pellegrini on the touchlines last played against Austria Salzburg. In the friendly which was played out at the MyPhone Austria Stadion, Pellegrini’s men outshone their opponents by a mile, ending up with a 5-1 win.

After this fixture against Real Betis, Liverpool have some familiar opponents to take care of – Arsenal and Manchester United.
