Manchester City & WWE join hands to launch new exclusive merchandise
Two famous global brands will collaborate
This is the most recent partnership between WWE and a major sports team, following the production of 31 custom NFL Championships and the distribution of a traditional title after the NHL Stanley Cup. WWE Shop has partnered with Manchester City Football Club.
The 10-time Premier League winners, on six T-shirts that combine iconic Star slogans with the football team, such as “The Man City,” which pays homage to Becky Lynch, and “Top of the Table,” which pays homage to Roman Reigns, dubbed “The Head of the Table.”
Despite winning the Premier League once more in 2024, Man City have not yet received a personalised championship, unlike other sports like the Kansas City Chiefs’ Super Bowl victory earlier in the year.
Given that Finn Balor is a Spurs fan and Sheamus is a Liverpool supporter, the Raw players are hopeful that this collaboration will be the beginning of many with English football teams.
To observe the start in advance of SmackDown at Madison Square Garden this Friday, WWE Women’s Advocate Bayley and Baron Corbin may go to the CityStore on 6th Avenue in New York City Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. for a reserved meet-and-greet. The Premier League award will additionally be in store on Friday and during the weekends.
“We are excited to announce the launch of our exclusive retail collaboration with WWE today. As a club, we’re always exploring new ways to enhance our retail offering for our fans across the globe and collaborations like this with WWE are part of that ongoing strategy,” said Serena Gosling, Director of Integrated Fan Experience and Retail & Licensing at Manchester City.
“In addition, today’s announcement offers a further touch point for our fans within the U.S. and beyond to engage with the club, ahead of men’s first team visit this summer.”
The Premier League professional football team, Manchester City, and WWE have collaborated to create a new name and jersey format that the footballers will wear in their games during their upcoming summer tour of America this summer. The design includes a red border and the WWE logo inside the number.
