We are unfortunately unable to process ticket sales either online or over the phone, so please do not call the box office. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.”
In its latest service page, Crowdstrike (a cybersecurity company) additionally recognised the issue. They stated, “CrowdStrike is aware of reports of crashes connected to the Falcon Sensor that have occurred on Windows hosts.” Basically, they meant issues in the Falcon sensor were the cause of the Windows crashes that have been occurring globally.
However, it was later confirmed that the outage had been fixed. Microsoft servers are back to normal functioning. However, Its crash did have one of the worst repercussions and many working people around the globe came to a standstill.
The positive thing for Manchester United and other clubs who suffered a setback in early ticket sales is that it took only a few hours for things to get back to normal.
