Manchester United identify Eberechi Eze as target for next summer transfer window
Eze has attracted interest from many top clubs.
Manchester United are already planning their signings for the next summer window. The club have located a player to reinforce their attacking line. Eberechi Eze is one of the players the club will look to sign.
Eze has been a pleasure to watch for Crystal Palace lately. He proved that he is destined for the greatest level when he earned a spot in the England squad for Euro 2024 this summer.
The Manchester Evening News reports that the 26-year-old is becoming one of the Red Devils’ top targets in the summer transfer window. The Manchester club want to add a new midfielder, winger and defender next summer.
According to the report, Eze has a £68 million release option at Selhurst Park. This seems like a good deal for the English club.
Eberechi Eze recently earned Palace a 1-1 Premier League draw away at Chelsea with a lovely solo goal. He’ll undoubtedly want to make regular impacts in bigger games.
It’s not shocking that Manchester United are interested in the England international. But one has to wonder if he would be better served exploring his options if given the chance.
Given that United continue to perform poorly under Erik ten Hag, it’s easy to see teams like Arsenal and Liverpool as better options for Eze. He might perhaps fit in better with more established squads there.
If Eze chooses to risk by moving to Manchester United over other potential Big Six suitors, he might wind up making the same mistake. So far many famous players have made such mistakes. They joined MUFC and struggled.
Eze could believe it’s a significant step up and an opportunity to win trophies. Manchester United are also an enormous team with a wonderful history. Despite their inconsistent play, they have won the FA Cup and Carabao Cup in the last two seasons.
