Manchester United targeting three more signings after Bryan Mbeumo deal

The Red Devils are still looking to sign more players before the end of the transfer window.

After Bryan Mbeumo’s arrival, Manchester United intend to make more transfers. The former Brentford star, Diego Leon, and Mathues Cunha have already cost the Red Devils more than £130 million.

The club are trying to revamp Ruben Amorim’s front line, and the two key stars that have arrived thus far are Mbeumo and Cunha.

According to The Athletic, Manchester United still intend to bring in other players this summer. The reports add that the team is still looking to bring in at least three more players. This includes a replacement goalie for the injured Andre Onana.

One player that seems to be on the radar is Emiliano Martinez, but Aston Villa are asking almost £40 million to sell him.

Antwerp’s Senne Lemmens is additionally linked with the Red Devils, with reports stating talks over a £17m deal have taken place.

The defensive midfield role is the second one that is seen to require reinforcement. Kobbie Mainoo, Casemiro, and Manuel Ugarte are Manchester United’s current options at the position.

Hence, No.6 is also reportedly on the “agenda” at Old Trafford. A new striker who can take Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee’s place in attack is also being considered.

According to the report, Man United were unable to persuade Viktor Gyokeres or Hugo Ekitike to join the club. Gyokeres is set to join Arsenal, while Ekitike has almost completed his move to Liverpool.

Other options for the club are Nicolas Jackson, Ollie Watkins, and Benjamin Sesko. But it remains to be seen who will be the preferred choice to replace Hojlund in the No. 9 role.
