Salah is expected to play despite a recent injury.
After being substituted off against Crystal Palace in Matchday 34, fans feared that Mohamed Salah’s season could be over.
As the 33-year-old attacker left the game in the second half due to what appeared to be a hamstring problem, there were worries that it would be his final game for the club.
After a spectacular nine years at Anfield, where he scored 257 goals in 435 games, Salah revealed last month that he would be leaving, so it would have been a sad finale for him.
But the club have now issued a major injury update on the Egyptian forward as they head into their four matches of the season.
Mohamed Salah set to return from injury before end of season

The Reds stated on social media that the issue is a “minor muscle injury” and that it is “anticipated” the Egypt international will heal in time to “play again before the end of season”.
This means that Salah is likely to miss the Manchester United clash at Old Trafford this Sunday. But fans would hope that he will be fit by May 24, when Liverpool play their last match of the season against Brentford at Anfield.
Before playing Brentford to end their season, Liverpool will host Chelsea on May 9 and visit Aston Villa on May 17.
Salah’s recovery schedule timeline also guarantees that he will be able to lead Egypt in the World Cup this summer. Salah has had an incredible career since joining in 2017, winning two Premier League titles, the Champions League, the Fifa Club World Cup, the Uefa Super Cup, the FA Cup, two EFL Cups, and the Community Shield.
