I’m probably more out than in: Mohamed Salah on Liverpool future & new contract

The Egyptian will become a free agent after the end of the season.
Mohamed Salah admits that he is “probably more out than in” about his future at the club and is frustrated that Liverpool have not extended his deal offer.
Amid a stellar start under Arne Slot, whose team is eight points ahead at the summit of the Premier League following ten victories in his 12 league games, the question around Salah’s future remains one of the few things to worry about.
Liverpool fans’ concerns that the attacker will leave when his contract ends in the summer will be heightened by Salah’s shocking remarks.
“Well, we are almost in December and I haven’t received any offers yet to stay in the club,” the 32-year-old said. “I’m probably more out than in.
“You know I have been in the club for many years. There is no club like this. But in the end it is not in my hands. As I said before, it is December and I haven’t received anything yet about my future.”
Salah said, “Of course, yeah,” when asked if he was frustrated by Liverpool’s lack of offers. ”I adore the fans. I am adored by the fans. Ultimately, neither the fans nor I have control over it. We’ll have to wait and see.”
He said that he had not discussed the lack of an offer with the club. ”Since I won’t be retiring anytime soon, I’m just playing, concentrating on the season, and attempting to win the Premier League and, ideally, the Champions League. Although I’m disappointed, we’ll see.”
Mohamed Salah can sign a pre-contract with a foreign team in January
Given that Salah receives a base salary of £350,000 per week, Liverpool are reportedly at ease with the situation, believing they have had fruitful discussions with his agent, Ramy Abbas Issa, and realizing that any contract for their top player was never going to be a quick fix.
After scoring twice in the victory over Southampton, Salah offered to speak to the media. Salah stated: “I was just like, ‘Okay, I play my last season and see at the end of the season,’ because nobody in the club had yet spoken to me about contracts.”
Five weeks remain before the Egypt international may sign a pre-contract with a foreign team. In the past, he was connected to Saudi Arabian clubs, and when asked about those he links, he declared, “I don’t want to talk about that.” “I am now concentrating on the team.”
