Neymar sends final message to Al-Hilal fans ahead of Santos transfer

The Brazilian didnât have a happy stay at the Saudi club.
Neymar has officially announced his departure from the Saudi Pro League. Following a disappointing stint with Al-Hilal, the Brazilian superstar declared his intention to leave.
Neymarâs contract with Al-Hilal has been terminated by mutual consent between the Saudi Arabian club and the Brazilian sensation.
In August 2023, Neymar left Paris Saint-Germain to join the Saudi Arabian team. The Saudi team paid 90 million euros ($94 million) at the time to get the Brazil striker.
However, before he could make his appearance the Brazilian suffered an ACL injury which kept him out of action for a year, despite returning from the season-ending injury the former Barcelona star picked up a hamstring injury.
As he struggled to remain fit Al-Hilal decided to not register the forward for the second part of the 2024-25 season for Saudi Pro League games. As per rumours now Neymar will return to his childhood club where he established himself as the most promising player.
Neymar also left a goodbye message to Al-Hilal fans on social media, which read: âTo everyone at Al Hilal, to the fans, Thank you !! I gave everything to play and I wish we enjoyed better times on the pitch together .. To Saudi, thank you for giving me and my family a new home and new experiences I now know the real Saudi and have friends for life I always felt your love and passion for the game I will be following your journey ahead as a club and a country towards 2034 Your future will be incredible, special things are happening And I will always support youâ
Neymarâs lacklustre time at Al Hilal is over as the Brazilian player and the Saudi team mutually decided to part ways.
Neymar is reportedly set to sign with Santos, a Brazilian team where he began his career. The Brazil international hopes to move by this month and is very much interested in joining Santos. According to sources, the Brazilian club plans to present Neymar either on Thursday, January 30, or Friday, January 31.
According to reports, as part of the deal, Neymar is giving up $25â30 million of his salary to join the Brazilian club.
